Well, it's something we'll look into when we'll be reaching the late 
beta stage, but yes 
I've this on my mental to-take-care list.

Beside classic GNU autoconf build system and BONE compiled apps 
compiled for BONE, 
many network apps will try to link against a -lsocket, that right. -
lbind, too, in fact.
Maybe a "libsocket.so" symlink targeting "libnet.so" will be enought, 
maybe 
we'll have to write a thin libsocket.so wrapper, dunno yet.

However it's not high on the task list currently.
