Before you move to far away from R5, I would recommend to inspect what 
the new platform offers us in terms of debugging.
That's not only because I don't want to waste my work that's gone into 
the userland server, having improper debugging tools and to reboot all 
over can seriously slow down development and be discouraging over the 
long run :)

I admit I would really like to see a new (and working) networking stack 
on R5, but since it's so near (and also a good testing platform), I 
think it would be stupid to neglect that opportunity.
