You wouldn't use Win98 for a server, either, would you? Haiku R1 will
not be a secure OS and thus should not come with server apps, so people
don't get the wrong impression.

I'm not forgetting our target audience for R1, but later it will be very
difficult to change something in the OS. People will expect it to be
there and shout very loudly if some daemon is missing (or replaced) in
R2. We should take the chance and show what we're heading at.

Who wants to remove them then?

I want to keep them, and it looks like most others wants that too. They have
saved my ass many times, and I'd expect a good OS to have the tool to save
ones ass at all times. You can always make them 'optional' when the
installer is made.
