[openbeosnetteam] Install net_kit

Here's what I did :)

I did a cvs co . (15 megs of code, probably just net_kit would be okay)
I went to the net_kit/source/server and typed make
It doesn't finish make because the directories
/source/server/modules/protocol and others do not exist.
mkdir modules/protocol
mkdir modules/interface
mkdir modules/misc
make
make installdriver

Hurray it compiles!

Very creative btw:
=================================
***** WARNING *****
Before trying to use the kernel implementation of the
stack (just installed), you need to do the following:
1. Go to the network preferences app and disable ALL
   network cards listed there.
2. Restart the network.
3. Do make installdriver from this directory
No restart should be required, but it may not be a bad idea :)
When ready to try the new stack, run the test app, found in
the apps directory below this one.
NB NB NB
To change back to using the old net stack, do this:
1. Do make removedriver from this directory
2. Restart the computer
3. Go to the network preferences panel and enable the cards
you want and restart the network.
While we know this is all a little like MicroSoft, please
follow the instructions or kernel debugger land will be
on your travel plans!
===================================
then I went to apps and did a make. No problem here.

I disabled my only card in net preferences and restarted the server.
(it is still running, just not with a card.)

I'm not very clear about what I'm supposed to be doing though, is it
installdriver, installkernel? This might be put in a small "How to
build net_kit" faq.

I think I did installdriver, so I went to the test cases and ran them

All it seems like that needs to be done is to create those directories
in the CVS tree, and to clarify which make we're supposed to run.

Pieter
