That's the whole point - you can't! Our IPC mechanism is using the socket
driver. Basically the userland version exists as it tends to find bugs
faster and specific tests can be written into net_server.c and run from
main(). It's possible to add a ping like test and run it from there. In fact
running ping on the kernel version against the loopback causes the machine
to freeze and requires a reboot! I'd like to add a ping test so I can check
what's going on and fix it...
Maybe I'll do more TCP work first though :)
You can now create TCP sockets, but the rest isn't done yet.
