"ifconfig /dev/net/tulip/0 down ..." !?

Well, it's a half/half situation:
- I like the fact that BONE don't hide that an interface is in fact driven 
by an old BeOS net architecture kernel driver, 
by using the full driver path /dev/net/tulip/0
- Like you, I don't like to have to type fullpath on command line ;-)

Maybe ifconfig could be made a little more smarter on interface name 
argument recognition?
Anyway, let's play with names later... when the stack will be finished.
