Hi all,

sorry for not taking part into the irc chat, I don't get OBOS net team emails 
and have no Internet 
access authorization at work, furthermore I am in the GMT+1 zone so even if I 
had had the 
emails 4:00pm GMT was definitely too early for me (still at work then).
With the number of emails that had been sent to the OBOS + Phoenix + OBOS Net 
team mailing 
lists in the past days I've gone completely out of sync with the current 
threads.
If it were possible to organize some irc meeting at some other time of day I'd 
just love to join!
Anyway....

I'd like to welcome all the newcomers, especially Bruno, whom I was in touch 
with in the good old 
NPC days ;o)
Glad to see David Reid around too...

Eric Peters, thanks a lot for your introduction.
Funny you say you can't help because you miss some knowledge, like network 
stack 
knowledge... This is basically the reason I came here... to get that kind of 
knowledge! Designing a 
network stack is not really an everyday job I think, and this is just the right 
opportunity to jump 
in it :o)

As far as hosting space for the net team is concerned, the openbeos server 
space was a pain to 
access (no direct access, having to mail the content to someone else, etc). I 
don't know if this 
has changed since but meanwhile I had decided to use my own webserver to host 
things, that 
was here: http://www.profuzion.org/en/openbeos_net_team/
I believe we shouldn't fragment our hosting too much, so if you want I can give 
Erik full ftp 
access to the profuzion.org account on my server to post the logs and pngs 
there. This is not an 
obligation of any kind, we can also do it the other way round ^_^ Just I don't 
want to spread 
OBOS Net team files everywhere, even the outdated ones should be kept with the 
recent ones /
me think :)
