It should always accept it, and use it to connect to the system
audio mixer. The system mixer should then do the conversion.
But it is possible that BeOS R5 has some undocumented limitations.
BTW, we just lost the person who is doing the BSoundPlayer a
few days ago. If someone else is interested to do the work, I
would appreciate it.
