[openbeos] networking in vmware not working?

I haven't been able to get the network working in the Haiku Vmware images
for about two weeks... I'm using the images from: http://haiku-files.org
It seems that the VM resolves the correct IP address at first (when
bridged), but shortly after jumps to 198.168.0.235...
I'm using the ipro1000 adapter.
I'm wondering if anyone else is having these problems...
