In light of Nathan's article coming up at about the same time
as this thread, I'd bet that some folks are wondering about a
specific aspect of going for binary compatibility -- that is, we all know
that if, down the road, the project hits the wall and finds BC simply
unattainable, it'll be dropped. The question then becomes, how long until
there's a better idea about this attainability? By what date does the
project say the word (if at all)?
Note, I'm not particularly interested in the answer to this -- I figure
the ball will be called when it's in play; but, I'd bet others would
like some sort of an answer...
Ok, sorry for all the posts tonight. ...Hope I didn't go over the
legal limit. :)
