If we find a big enough box we could try to put live demos using qemu.
I'll have to automate this, but using the Java VNC viewer we could let
people try Haiku in a KISS way (no download, no install...), like
posted on ICO.
I currently use:
qemu -net none -usbdevice tablet -vnc 1 -snapshot generated/haiku.image
This way we can run several instances that share the image file.
I'll try to find a way to securely allow net access from the vm without
compromizing the LAN security, maybe only proxying port 80 or
something.
Currently the emulated tablet isn't seen by input_server (ohci...) so
the mouse cursors aren't in sync. When usb works it should be ok.
I have some ideas on how to get sound also, that would rock.
François.
