If you buy an old ThinkPad X20, X30 or X31 it is much better! But none of them 
is as small as the Eee-PC. ;-)

No one else considering this thing overhyped yet? Those specs, and
still only 4 hours battery life, for that price?
Second hand laptop would give better hope for easy compatibility as
well, since the hardware will be known.
