I'm afraid jam hasn't been that actively maintained for a while. There were
like 5 message from Christopher Seiwald (the official maintainer) on the
jamming mailing in the last two years. Unless I missed it, I don't even
think the official 2.5 release (being just a renaming of 2.5rc3) was
announced there.
