Ok, but *which* app is it? Or do you mean gcc itself?
I've been informed about a problem with haiku's rc doing the same trick
(i.e. go straight to KDL) and I could reproduce that just now, but only
under BONE. So it seems that some of my fiddling with the new elf tags used
by binutils-2.15 confuses the (newer) loader.
I am currently trying to find out what exactly causes this...
