[openbeos] Announcement: WalterCon

Howdy folks,
The OpenBeOS team would like to announce their tenative intent to host
"WalterCon", a North American (Open)BeOS conference. We currently plan on
holding said conference in late June 2004. In an effort to guage interest,
we would appreciate it if anyone interested in the event would email
<WalterCon@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> with answers to the three following questions so
we can better decide where the event should be held, and what should be on
the schedule.
1) Yes/No/Maybe - Would you come to a West Coast WalterCon?
2) Yes/No/Maybe - Would you come to an East Coast WalterCon?
3) Which of the following would you most like to see:
- Presentations on the API and the internals?
- Presentations on 3rd-party apps.
- Discussions of R2+.
- Free time to code and hang out?
More details will be posted on this list and the OpenBeOS website as they
become available. Until then...
