I'm pleased to announce that Initio will be sending me a couple of SCSI
cards to start driver development for their line of SCSI cards.
Basically two chipsets cover their entire SCSI line. While looking at
their online store, I noticed that they are having a special on their
INI9200UW (40MB/s) dual channel card for $109 USD. IMHO a realy good
price. I know you were hoping to here about the Advansys cards but
since Initio bought out ConnectCom's SCSI and 1394 Firewire lines in
June, the Advansys line is being marketed as HP Scanner Kits. My guess
is that the Advansys line will be discontinued when their stock runs
out. On the upside, however, they seem to have a much stronger European
distribution channel than in the U.S and are not Microsoft-centric.
