Yes. Andy is totally on the nose here. The cost of having a lithe,
frugal, fast OS (which I think most of us want--and had in BeOS)
is that you don't have all the bells and whistles (like many huge
apps that come with the OS, or an API for every possible application
area you're interested in) that come with other, more elephantine,
OS's.
