BeOS was designed to go streight to the heart of the windows market, and
reach every corner.
HOWEVER, a small company just starting out needs to be more targeted in
its marketing. Because the people at Be definitely COULD code, BeOS
ended up being exceptional for Multi Media (though it never worked with
my ALS4000 or AC97 mobo audio). Therfore, they made the decision to
market it to that audience. This is BUS 102...
Taking Be's marketing as gospel is just as foolish as beleiving that
newer versions of windows are actually faster than older ones...
