Many of you are wondering, I am sure, when and where WalterCon is, since
this is the 1 year anniversary from last year.
The planners this year decided to move WalterCon to later in the year,
partially because summer is bad for a lot of people and partly since we
realized that all of the good travel spots are also vacation spots and,
well, they are busy in the summer, not to mention 115 degrees...
So, without further ado, WalterCon 2006 will be in Orlando, Florida on
October 28 and 29. I am still selecting between a few hotels, but the
price is a slight increase from last year - $125. That includes the
meeting room, a t-shirt and overnight accomodations the night of the
28th. There *will* be internet access this year, the hotel will not be
bulldozed or blown up and no one will lose their shirt gambling... :-)
