Yes, that is the problem. It is beos native. you can't communicate with other 
when using for example
Solaris, Linux, freeBSD, Windows except you use the java client.

I personally *do like* BeShare, but I'm not sure if this is the correct 
communication tool if you are a part time BeOS
programmer, and perhaps also use alternative OS while you are doing other work.

I have no problem with BeShare, but I don't want to restrain anybodies 
activities by choosing BeShare as main 
communication Medium.
