I haven't tried Linux, will probably give it a try on Thursday (since it is a
holiday and I have plenty of time).
My machine does't have serial output, since it lacks a serial port. I can
check, wether I find a port replicator though - after all there needs to be
some merit to work for the company who built this notebook.
I have no clue when the next BeGeistert will be. Haven't been to one for a
very long time. But its a good idea. Heck maybe some people even might still
know me ;-)
Who maintains the driver? Do we have access to the specifications of the
chipset?
