[openbeos] ISA questions

Hi,
i want to use ISA to read and write bytes in io space.
-do i have to get module and put module every time i want to read or write a
byte? because that would seem like a lot
of overhead. btw i don't think i can do that in an interrupt handler.
-the functions read_io_xxx and write_io_xxx have a parameter mapped_io_address.
do i need to map the registers i need to access, or is it just a confusing name
(or is it just me :-))
kind regards,
Bruno.
