Currently, the BinkJet drivers (HP Inkject) are closed source. But, HP
has open sourced the linux drivers!
If you plan on Inkjet, get an HP, not an Epson. The Epson print heads
are part of the printer, and if one color does not get used after a
while, and the head gets clogged, and won't self clean, it's $60+ for a
new print head. HP print cartridges have the print heads built into
them, so every time you get more ink, you get new print heads, which is
a big plus. (or so I've been told)
