Not currently it was very much an overview. It seems Windows has "owned" my
notebook BeOS partition since coming out of hibernation and unless I can
fix this the presentation is unrecoverable.
If I'm allowed to ameliorate my previous comment: a programming language is
only as good as the programmer who uses it. You can create really evil or
really great code in pretty much any languages. I have issues with PHP or
perl and I think Python is a great fit for the BeOS/Walter and can
recommend Chris Herborth's Chapter on scripting in the BeOS bible which
introduced me to Python.
I think Bethon is a _really_ exciting development as is BePascal which
according to Oliver Coursière, with whom I discussed this at BeGeistert, is
actively being developed: the Be-API becomes available for other languages.
To all intents and purposes you will then be able to develop for the BeOS
in your favourite languages.
