Environment]

How about we just put this discussion to an end and just put either
Karl's image or something similar on haiku-files.org. I think it fills
a need by making it easier for developers to play around with Haiku
and develop applications on it. If the majority of the people with a
stake in the project do not think now is a time to "officially"
distribute an image that allows developers to work within Haiku, then
fine. Though to me it seems silly and counter-productive to put up
barriers of entry for developers.

Regards,
Ryan

I agree,

Haiku members needs to diferenciate the bad marketing and the good marketing to
Haiku brand that Karl does to entire community. Treat him like a pirate or a
resseller as seen in this ML is the true linuxfing of Haiku. He don't have a 2
cents income doing a website (like BeBits) showing Haiku logo an linked to
haiku-os.org everywhere.

Thanks him, don't guilty him.
