This is a question to Karl: do you have permission to redistribute
BeIDE? If you don't, I highly object that you include this or any other
BeOS IP in the Haiku packages that you are distributing.

I know that you have all the best intentions, but you are constantly
walking a grey area with your Haiku-branded packages, and here is
typical case where the doings of a third party could could cause
problems to the project.

I really don't want to spoil anybody's effort, which I know are well
intentioned. But it is time that we mature as a community and start
playing by the rules if we want others -- including and perhaps most
importantly businesses -- to take us seriously and respect our work too.

Regards,

Koki
