This wouldn't happen to be what you're thinking of, would it:

It is supposed to work reasonably well... And LaTeX PDFs look stunning,
as you no doubt know.

As a matter of fact, I didn't. But I believe you in an instant. And
Doxygen outputs Latex natively, even though I never looked at it, I
imagine the output is well suited for a linear way of looking at the
API documentation.
