I'm also in the market for a new laptop (some of my land in MT should
sell this week).
I've been eyeing an ArmComputer (www.armcomputer.com) CQ12 or Velocity
Micro (www.velocitymicro.com) S56, which is a bit more expensive.
Haven't had the opportunity to test either myself yet, however,
discussing the Velocity Micro one with their tech support, it seems all
but the modem is good by chipset - and the modem I have (Zoom PCMCIA
Lucent chipset works like a charm in BeOS). The armcomputer one a local
shop sells, so I'll be bringing in a BeOS CD at earliest chance, but I
have my doubts about the NIC (Realtek - normally good about BeOS drivers
- 8100B - not listed in Frizbe).

Please include me in those discussions. :)
