Hi all,
After months and months of hard work (2 days actually ;-) the Midi
Team is proud to present milestone 2 of the Midi Kit. This milestone
completes libmidi2.so, which means that you can now send and receive
MIDI events. Apart from having a softsynth and the ability to talk
to hardware devices, the MIDI Kit is fully functional.
If you want to try it out for yourself, download a precompiled
package at:
http://www.openbeos.org/samples/MidiKit.zip
Installation is very simple, and the OpenBeOS Midi Kit can work
alongside the old R5 Midi Kit. Enjoy!
