Umm... What are you talking about here?
You can use whatever shell you want with the Terminal
at the present state. Just start the shell you want.

What the terminal does, is creating an environment for the
shell to live in... so yes... we need a terminal like 
application (if the current Terminal app isnt compatible with
OpenBeOS in the end of course).
