Yeah, I'll try to put one up with the release (which, in addition to
bug fixes, contains SMTP/TLS support, so you can use gmail fully with
MDR)

This bug was fixed yesterday in CVS -- it was due to a header
incompatibilities with BONE. The new release should go on BeBits
shortly. In the meantime, you can run jam haiku-maildaemon-cvs to get
the current CVS build, which will fix the problem.

Any chance of getting a net_server build on BeBits too? I know I could
get the source and build it myself, but not everyone is able to do
that. I've been using webmail since I reformatted my BeOS partition
and I miss my MDR :)
Sorry for being off topic.

I think the error was that the recipient did not exist,
but I could remember incorrectly.
I was wrong, it was "550 Invalid Message-Id".

Mine looks like this, using MDR 3.0.0 final / BONE.
Message-Id: <5566882524-BeMail@>
I have a hostname and a domain set and I think at least the hostname
used to show up
in the Message-Id earlier.
