Many, many people have asked me about donating from outside of the US. I was 
reluctant to choose paypal (which seems like an obvious choice) because I know 
that they have received a lot of bad press in the past.

My experience with paypal has been nothing but good. I was very impressed with 
their customer support recently when I needed it. And, honestly, no one has had 
a better suggestion.

So now there are more choices for donating to Haiku. NetworkForGood for folks 
in the US, Paypal for anyone, sending a check, or emailing me for bank info.

I used my personal email for the paypal account. I chose that so that people 
would know that it was "legit"; I have used this email address since the 
beginning of the project. 

We don't and won't spam, beg, whine or otherwise solicit donations in any 
irritating manner. 

In other news, we have changed web hosting from a donated source to paid 
(through Site5) hosting. We are still in the process of getting our backups 
from the old site so that we can restore everything, but www.haiku-os.org now 
has a message, at least, instead of not responding. :-) We hope to get the site 
up and running with a new newsletter within the week.
