Speaking of updates, what's up with this:

I was getting hopeful there, but then I found the link to "build 
documentation" (http://www.i-e-a.com/~ithamar/open-beos/build/) is 
broken.

I think the regular monthly builds mentioned would help those of us 
who are too lazy, busy, or inexperienced to contribute to testing 
more easily.  Especially if semi-major builds get attention on OSNews 
and other ex-regular-Be-user havens and checkpoints.  The wider 
testing base, the better.
