[openbeos] CVS broken pipe

I would update it now, but over DUN (BeOS 5.0.3 Pro) cvs stops with a
broken pipe error. Does anybody know a solution for this problem?
CVS was down until some time ago... it should work now.
I don't believe that this was the cause of the problem, because
cvs did also not work when I last used it last weekend or so.
It does work under Linux at home (= DUN), so it does not seem
to be a problem with the modem or internet provider.
It works fine on the same notebook when I am at work connected to
the internet via network card, so cvs and ssh are installed correctly.
Can this be a netserver bug? Any help is appreciated.
