[openbeos] First newsletter of the newyear

And as a last note first, please work on/submit more articles, the
reserve is quite low. Thanks.

Next newsletter needs to go online sometime tomorrow. While I'm okay
for articles this time around (less Michael's editorial), we had decided
previously that every other issue we'd have a "status report", and on
the off issues, an "advertisement" - once a month for each. I have
neither for this issue.

I'm assuming that the holidays have through off any status report work,
as that takes time to coallate together and all... BTW, any takers on
this next report? Luke, will you be doing it regularly?

Anyways, if you'd like to advertise some program you wrote, your
business, your website, your BUG event, etc,, drop me an email. It
should be no more than 3 reasonably lengthed paragraphs, although
preferably less. It obviously has to concern BeOS or OpenBeOS in some
relevant manner, and if it's a timely ad (about an event or something),
we will need to know that well in advance as well (so it can be bummed
up the reserve, if needed). Also, we are not responsible for typos of
any sort, so make sure you proof read it yourself. We'll correct
english grammar issues at request, but cannot be responsible for
anything in the advertisement, etc. - meaning, if you'd like it
proofread, we'd need it in advance so that we can get it back to you for
approval before putting it online.

The staff on the newsletter (Michael, Daniel, and myself) have the sole
discretion to include it in the newsletter or not, so submission does
not guarantee it will be used.

Deej
