I feel so dumb asking if the directory where the backgrounds are stored
is restricted to boot disk. Just found out the Desktop is right there on
my home directory... sorry for wasting the time of others...
Anyway just want you folks to know I'm getting used to BeOS now (as a
user, and the API). The Background Preference is already being
prototyped, and no problem so far. And I can't find a driver for my
modem, guess I'll be shelling out for one that's supported.
