Before calling the first cvs command, you must log on
cvs.sourceforge.net with ssh, to be
authenticate:
$ export CVS=5FRSH=3Dssh
$ ssh -l indygo cvs.sourceforge.net
The connexion will close automatically, don't worry, it's expected.
Then, you can do the non-anonymous cvs calls:
$ export CVS=5FROOT=3Dindygo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:/cvsroot/open-beos
$ cd /your/path/to/openbeos
$ cvs -z3 co midi=5Fkit
etc...
