The BeOS R5's MPU401 kernel module don't bother about midi=5Fserver at
all.
It just offer generic very low-level support for basic MPU401
hardware functions, mostly read, write, and handle the IRQ
or the device midi UART.

Anyway, it's great to see you, Greg, starting the mpu401 kernel module
rewrite task.
Even if you don't finish it, it's always a progress, and *every*
progresses are great.
