Jonas,

I think a wide list view makes long a long application name still readable
without scrolling to the side which is a great annoyance in such a small
view (besides the fact that most mouses have a vertical scrolling wheel and
no horizontal scrollingwheel). 

I personally like the way that Windows does show it's uninstall/repair
information (with the repair/uninstall button in de same row as the
applicationinfo), all the info and or options for the app combined in the
application information row.

I would prefer a GUI that was closer to that of Data-
Translations, with a few tweaks, like moving the icon:

I think it would look better. Very wide list views don't look
good, with selected items spanning mostly white space.
