I'm printing over a network using the LPR transport. I
should be clear that I haven't tried the troublesome
file on the OBOS print_server yet, but I will tomorrow.
I believe that LPR asks you to submit using the
Postscript driver. I'll try to localize the problem.
(And fix it if I have some time.)

Maybe we have a problem in our spool file handling, or we handle it
to early (not completly writtent into the file), dunno.
