At my brothers receint wedding (Microsoft employee, spares no expense)...

3 Canon 10D's and a vidiographer.

Digital is definately here with high end weddings.

I talked with the main photographer. He told me he had a trunk load of Hasselblad gear and Mamiya gear that he couldn't sell for $1200. I amost told him I'd give in the $1200 right then and there for the Hasselblad gear sight unseen.

I have a hard time imagining professional wedding photographers are
really using digital technology for their clients. I own a Sony F717
and my wife and I are both versed in photoshop and paint shop pro.
However, enlargements are problematic (quality issues). With
advancements in electronics, specifically digital technology, I should
think that this is an extremely poor time to get into digital if you are
a professional wedding photographer.

Xavier:

I know of some wedding photographers who are close to switching back
because they are finding that they are spending twice as much time
producing prints digitally, than they did when using film.

One in particular is "up all night" using Photoshop.
