Thanks I will go check it out. It also occured to me that some of the
cold-bluing touch up products that are sold for gunsmiths and sportsmen to
use for minor refinishing may work.. they have a kind of big magic marker as
well as a liquid in a bottle. Several versions work only on steel or iron,
but others I believe will work on alloy or cast metals incl. aluminium.
These are chemical blackeners, not paint.
