Bob,

OK then. An R8 or 9 bought from eBay would not be
covered by dealer warranty, so I will phone Leica USA
to find the total price of a CLA plus update.

Leica NJ won't do the update without a CLA.

Could DAG do the update?  I have had superb work
done by Don over the years, on my M cameras.
