I'd be glad to oblige you with what you need to know. Here's the drill: the
IK team is working on the app_server, libbe.so, and the input server. Ugh.
Quite a bit of progress has been made on the class front. I have part of the
interface spec for the app_server finished. We don't really have much of
anything in the CVS repository because so much has been incremental (constant
tweaking). We do have a number of docs, some are going to be obsolete once I
get the spec completed. Erik Jakowatz, the team lead, came up with a process
for us to follow. It and the milestone schedule are on the site. If you let
Erik know (erik@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx), he'll put you on the mailing list for the
team.

We don't have much "official" code lying around just yet because we've had to
do quite a bit of research, especially on the app_server. Erik made a
guestimate that we'd be banging out code probably by the end of the year. I
think that's probably about right. Let me know what you're interested in, and
just out of sheer curiosity, what kind of background are you coming from?
