Just wanted to say that I've decided not to pursue the proxy lib 
experiment with libbe.so.  The more I've looked at the docs, thought 
about the whole sub-system and looked at what will be necessary to pull 
the experiment off, it just doesn't seem worth the effort; especially in 
light of the fact that rants about the impossibility of achieving binary 
compatibility have basically vanished.  I figure we can prove the point 
when we start running 3rd party apps out of the box. =)
