For PADS, and I can not speak of Expedition, as I have never used it, you do
have to choose one or more parts, then select move and then move them.
Select more parts, select move (right mouse button) then move them. Allegro
is "modal", as in, you set the mode, say, "move", then you are in move mode
until you get out of it. PADS does not work this way. You select something
(typically using the selection filter) and right mouse to see what you can
do with it. It really is quite easy to use.
