Anyway, I'd like to hear some arguments for/against using Enhancement
vs. Task for the other ticket type.
What about "bug" and "feature request"? Although I'd also be satisfied
with "enhancement" (but I don't like "defect").
I think that you're misunderstanding what we want. There are three potential
ticket types:
* bug
* feature request
* task (or enhancement or ...)
The question is: how do we call the last one? Mikael wants to call it
"enhancement", but we do not always "enhance" and "fix" something. There are
other types of tasks like "improve design/usability" which do neither fit
"bug/defect" nor "enhancement". That's why IMHO "task" should be chosen.
About the "feature request" ticket type I'm not sure. Maybe we should start
without it and see if it's really needed? I mean, if someone files a feature
request it will either be marked invalid or it becomes a real task, so maybe
feature requests don't need their own ticket type.
Bye,
Waldemar Kornewald
