ok folks...
First, sorry not to intend tonight, i'm still at the agency, go a big issue
on project to solve...
For my capability to work in and as a team, you must know that it's actuaaly
my daily job to do so, as a project manager in a webagency... i do not do
anymore code (or so) but organise ressources to do it.

Let's put things back in the context: as the main contributor and creator of
my beos website, i first join this mailing list to get aware of what is
happening in the Haiku world. I saw that Jorge and Niels was looking to
replace the gallery of the website using the picasa account. And since i
have already done some job on such a thing for a Wii media center portal
(access your picasa photo on your wii portal) using the RSS feed picasa
provide.

So i did some work on it, and manage to get something up n running. I send
the whole system to Jorge who manage to get it running under the Drupal
installation on Haiku-os.org. Then a couple of days after that, Jorge send
an email here telling us that i wouldn't have so much time to do the little
modifications needed to finish it. So a week after, telling myself that it
was a bit silly not to do it, i decide to propose to help to do it. So in
the idea, i was the only one having some time available to lokk into it.

Then real life get back and i didn't manage to find some time to do it. So
Niels ask for a date to meet and solve this thing. To me, it was a message
for me. Since Jorge told us he have no time, and Niels asked for my help, i
say ok for (in my mind i understand it like that) a private chat while
working on it together and quickly finish the job.

If someone understood that i want to do it on my own, i'm sorry. That's not
the point and that's not the way i see it. That said: eh people: sources are
on the test website and everybody can access to it and do it. Curtis,
Serpentor, if you want to do it, feel free to do !!! I would be glad to see
other people working on it and solve some issue i have.

The only moment i told Jorge (cause it's what we are talking about here
right ?) not to be there is cause he told he has no time to work on this
thing anymore and that i know that testers should come in a project when its
done and tested by the people working on it, and not during devs are on it.
Of course we (Niels and me) would send an email here when we tought it was
ok for us.

Now, if you think i'm not the *team member* for this job, man, sources are
on the server, feel free to work on it ! But don't blame me to see a
solution running that just need one people to give a hour on it, seeing
nobody doing it, so telling "ok guys, i'm gonna do it !"

Working as a team doesn't mean to me sending dozen of email on a mailing
list to dozen of people talking about something, but at last nothing is
done. In this case, i choose to do it myself or with one or two others and
so the job is don finally. Perhaps it's a professionnal trick i have wanting
things to get out even if it's not as a team when the team actually do
nothing ... but hey, things get released ;)

Curtis, a team doesn't always mean the whole team working on everything, but
it can also means a couple of people on a couple of little projects that
create a big one... that's what you learn when you have to manage huge
websites projects with more than 35 people working on it.
