It is great that you have these meetings, and that they are open. Way
to go!
Well, you do understand that I still intend to become the sole
dictator over Haiku Inc. and the complete project, but a man has got
to start somewhere. ;-)
LOL!
If you are interested in attracting more volunteers to the team, how
about posting an announcement on the Haiku mailing list and the website,
inviting interested people to participate even if only as observers. You
can always tell those who attend as observers to join and follow up on
this list in case they want to pursue becoming more involved.
I think I'll actually push the announcement over to the general
mailing list, though I'm a bit doubtful on whether or not I should
post a general announcement. I think I'll just publish a blog or a
forum post. Which would be better?
Forum topics tend to become buried faster, so posting on the general
mailing list and the Blog-O-Sphere (which is also syndicated) is a good
combination, /me thinks.
One thing that you could do is ask Waldemar to make the blog post
"Promoted to front page" and "Sticky at top of lists" between now and
the meeting, to make it more visible and to increase the chances of
participation.
Good luck!
Cheers,
Koki
