While you are at that, also change the rtl8139 driver to be the one
from freebsd (it is on the tree but not being built. It works
flawlessly and does not hang (the current one does).

Go for it. :) Also, you could check why the net_server dets commented
out in the bootscript when haiku is compiled with gcc 4.
